Pupils from classes 1BB, 1AF and 1MA enjoyed a fantastic visit to East Park as part of their recount topic in English. The trip provided the children with lots of first-hand experiences to talk and write about back in the classroom.

We were joined by Paddington Bear, who came along to help us explore the park. The children loved seeing the animals, visiting the pond and observing the winter scenery. There was also time to enjoy a well-earned biscuit, which was very popular!

The pupils were a real credit to the school, showing excellent behaviour and enthusiasm throughout the visit. A big thank you goes to the parents and carers who supported us and helped make the trip such a success.
