Pupil Premium

Pupil premium report to parents

The pupil premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.

Pupil premium funding is available to both mainstream and non-mainstream schools, such as special schools and pupil referral units.

East Park Primary is a substantial three-form entry school serving 767 pupils (Autumn 2025 Census). With 8.6% of our pupils eligible for Pupil Premium (PP) funding (below the England average), our commitment remains constant: giving every child the best possible chance to succeed.

We ensure this through a holistic approach encompassing:

· Quality First Teaching as a foundation for all learning.

· Targeted support and pastoral care.

· Opportunities for curriculum enrichment.

The Senior Leadership Team continuously monitors and evaluates the progress of our PP-eligible pupils against internal and national benchmarks. This commitment to strategic provision results in exceptionally high outcomes for our Pupil Premium children when compared to local and national data.
